I have been telling everyone that when each of my first two children turned one year old, I found out that I was expecting another baby! And this is why all three children are 22 months apart. So, I have never experienced a one year old birthday without feeling, well ya know...MORNING SICKNESS, or some sign of pregnancy.
So, now that our third child (little Blake) has turned one, it is no wonder that my dreams are filled with babies, being pregnant, and my ultimate dream--having a baby girl!!! It is safe to say that my deep maternal instincts are on fire!
To add fuel to the fire, all our friends and loved ones are having babies! In the last week alone we have welcomed four babies into families of our friends, and I know of five more on the way! It seems that all I can think about lately is having a baby.
My sweet husband laughs at me every time I bring up the subject. Steve says, "Katie, honey...You NEED A BREAK, we need a break, our kids need a break!" And my husband is right. As much as I would LOVE a new baby, or that first baby girl, for now I will just wait awhile.
However, if anyone knows of any tricks or tips on how to conceive a GIRL, pass them on to me for FUTURE reference, please!

There is nothing quite like bringing a new baby into your home, and it makes you wonder how you ever lived a day without that sweet little spirit in your life!

You are so cute! So on conceiving a girl...I swear there are real tricks. And I think it worked for us even though we didnt' care. We will have to talk!

Thanks for the baby shout out :) It really does rain babies at the end of September (darn all that Christmas hanky-panky :)I can't wait to see a little Christensen baby girl... you NEED one (so Phoenix can have a neighborhood sweetheart :) So cute.

You know, I'm in the same boat as you (not baby hungry though)...but three, and wow! You amaze me...how in the sam hadies can you be baby hungry???
Did you forget they'll grow up and go to classes like kindermusic? I DO admit, LOVE,LOVE, LOVE babies...But then again, Holden's only 6 months old...and still a baby! Maybe I'll feel different in another 6 months. Or maybe I'd feel like you do about it if I looked as skinny as you after!
