When the kids asked why the turtle needed frequent breaks, Mimi (Steve's Mom) was quick to reply to the children, "Turtles need water, and they have to go get some water every ten minutes so that they don't dry out!" The kids bought into it and had such a good time. Thanks Stevie, and thanks for all who came out to love Tyler on his day!

Tyler's Turtle Party!
Tyler turned 5 on February 23rd and we had a big party for him on the 26th. All of our family members came to the kid barn, along with his buddies Silas and Tiger, to celebrate his birthday and love for Ninja Turtles.
His Daddy put on the Ninja Turtle costume to surprise all of the kids. The kids LOVED the turtle, but the Turtle was one hot Guy under that muppet pelt! (What a champ!)

Papa Tom got in and was one of the kids! All of his cute grandparents were in on the action! We love you Mimi, Papa, Marmie and Papa Tom!

Katie,
That party was the bomb...such a perfect wonderland for all those kids - and the Leonardo Ninja Turtle appearance topped it off - you guys have serious connections. Also, your 2nd blog is classic - I left a comment after I saw that Project Runway spoof!!! It was hilarious, just laughing out loud in bed at 1:00 am with Lisanne sleeping away right beside me. I loved it - you need to dedicate that blog to anything funny you find from SNL, youtube, etc... Anyway, love you guys, love the boys and love all the pics! Keep 'em coming!
Happy Birthday to your cute little, I mean big boy! Your husband is such a good sport to dress up-i am sure that was the highlight of the party. You did a great job of hosting, again! You seriously need to create a job out of hosting parties!
What a fun party! Happy birthday Tyler! I agree - Steve is a trooper!
Katie you have the cutest boys! Congrats to the birthday boy and I was so excited to find your blog.Lots of Love, Alicia Phillips (Howe)
I didn't know ninja turtles were still popular! I have no clue what little boys like...but I can name all of the American Girl dolls off the top of my head, ha!
We should trade kids one afternoon, I can see what it is like to have a house full of boys, and you can come over here and play in our pink kitchen and have a tea party with the girls. Let's do it!
We had so much fun! Thanks for including us -- the kids can't stop talking about it! Cole is dying to play Ninja turtles with the boys... He can hardly wait! Love you and am so excited to see you Sunday! XXOO
Oh my goodness! I love that Steve was such a trooper! I think I'll through Phoenix a Power Ranger Party and have Brandon make a spandex cameo! Tee Hee. Tell Steve we could use a Pink Power Ranger sidekick if he cares to volunteer :) Ohhh laa laa.
That must have been so much fun! I'm sad I missed the ninja turtle.
