Tyler Talk (with a little Con Man)

My five year old was playing with a new friend who had a new remote control Speed Racer Car. Tyler was drooling over it and admiring this cool new toy. So this conversation is what I overheard.....

Tyler: "Oh wow, that car is SOOO cool. Where did you get that?"
Friend: "At the store, but that was a long time ago, they are all gone now."
Tyler:"How much did it cost?"
Friend: "My Mom bought if for me, I don't know."
Tyler: "Well, when you have a garage sell, can I buy it from you?"
Friend: "Yeah, okay. You can buy it from me."
Tyler: (So Excited) "Okay, how much money will it cost?"
Friend: "All of your family's money."
Tyler: (No longer excited, gives him a confused look, shrugs his shoulders and says) "Okay."
***Just ready to sell the farm!

I love it - what a little negotiator . . . you may wake up one day and find your house for sale ;-). Anyway, it was SO great to see you yesterday and get caught up. You are the sweetest, cutest mom on the planet and I'm lucky to have such a wonderful friend!

First, I love this little conversation Tyler had. So classic... "ready to sell the farm" love it.

Anyways, I was wondering if you could help me out. I want to do 3 columns on the blog for my Dad. I know that you know how to do it. Can you give me some "pro blogging" advice?

Loves,

Jon

Katie, I saw your cute little hubby having lunch the other day. As I walked by him (I sat down first and then I went to say Hi) I thought of what a good man he has turned out to be. He reminds me so much of his Dad who you know I love more then anything. What a lucky man he is to have such a sweet wife and what a great little mother you are. Your beautiful family is just that, beautiful. I enjoy so much the stories of the boys. xxx ooo Debbie

Classic. He is negotiating already. He probably needs to work on his skills a little, but he is on his way!
