(If anyone is interested in a fun Family Activity, just neglect your lawn for a good two weeks and its FUN for Everyone!)
Our little Tyler came in the other night and said, "Whoa Mom, our grass is very, very long! Come and see it right now, Tally is swimming in it!" So, I laugh and think... "How long has it been since our neighbor boy cut the grass? Couldn't be that long? He usually does such a great job!" But I forgot that school has begun and our great little lawn boy has gotten a bit too busy for lawn care!
So I go out and see Tally just swimming and crawling through the grass laughing his great little belly laugh all the while. Then Tyler runs and leaps into join him and I hear giggling and I can see their little bodies under the grass moving around like two little worms! When I got out there to swim with them, I measured one piece of grass at 11 inches! I am sure some were over a foot!
Oh, and if anyone noticed how messy their shirts were in the picture, they originally went out to Sidewalk Chalk before they made the grass discovery! So, yeah...the Sidewalk Chalk made the shirts messy, for sure... messy that chalk!
