ChrIsTmAs is CoMiNg...

We are getting our house ready for the holidays! We have been enjoying all of the excitement of Christmas preparation... playing in our beautiful snow, having hot chocolate, and decorating our tree! Our boys are LOVING this magical time of year. They are busier than ever, and I can't seem to keep up with anything! These little boys can hardly wait until Christmas!

Tyler tells us every day that he wants a Polar Express Train this year for Christmas. He has written several letters to Santa about it, he looks at it online daily at Lionel.com, reads the book every night, and tells every person he encounters that he is asking for this train!

Tyler was a bit discouraged when we told him that he could only ask Santa Claus for one gift, especially since the one he is asking for is a Big One. But that little boy was so smart and so slick, he got an idea and he thought it up quick!

So now, when people ask his little brother Talmage what he is asking for from Santa, Tyler quickly interupts and answers for Talmage, "He wants a Lightning McQueen Remote Control Car!" Talmage has never actually said this himself, although he does fancy Lightning McQueen, so it seems fairly believable. The reality is-- clever little Tyler wants it. And what do you think Blake wants for Christmas? Well according to Tyler, Blakie wants a "Fisher Price (Toddler) Train, like the one at Challenger!"--of course!

What a beautiful home for a beautiful family! I loved looking at these pictures-such fun memories for you boys. This must be such a fun age for them during Christmas. I can't wait for my twins to actually know what is going on this time of year!

mmkay - so I see Kiyoshi is still posting on your blog?! Anyhoo - your boys are so SO darling! When I stopped by the other day Tyler was so funny telling me all about his trains. That one present thing is a good idea - I'll have to try that next year. Are you going to our friends c-mas party? I don't think I'll be able to make it - it's the same day as my niece's funeral. :(
